Easy To-Go Snacks for Disney World

In 22 days, we will be taking our then 15 month old to Disney World for the first time, for 6 days. It’s going to be very different taking a baby, but I’m determined to be very prepared. I can plan out every single minute of our trip, have the perfect reservations and itinerary, but the top of my list… food. Lol. Food fixes everything. And my daughter is just like me. She gets hangry very easily. Haha.

It’s no secret that food can get very pricey, very quickly at Disney World. And on vacations, that’s when I let myself indulge and enjoy different foods. By the time you have breakfast, a stop at Joffrey’s, lunch, a funnel cake (😱 yes a funnel cake. It’s vacation. 😉) at Sleepy Hollow, dinner, then hop over to Disney Springs for a cookie at Gideon’s (again. It’s vacation. 😉😂), you’ve spent SO MUCH money. Then leaving you with a sugar crash.

So in order to help save some on the wallet, and find a healthy medium between all the indulgent foods and foods your body needs for fuel and nutrition, I’ve compiled a list of snacks. Easy snacks. That will hopefully help on your next trip, even if it’s not to Disney World. – All these snacks are not just for the adults, but snacks that our daughter also enjoys! Again, saving the stress on the wallet from not having to buy separate snacks for each person.

I will break these snacks into 2 categories. Yes. Both are quick and easy. But some may not make it through flying and traveling, or will be easier to get them when you arrive to your resort. Others will be easy to partake in while flying/traveling.

Actively traveling snacks

Here are a few of our babies favorites. She’s currently obsessed with the Mamma Chia squeeze (she sucked down the green one last night), raisins, Cere Belly Smart Bars (there’s multiple flavors with different veggies and fruit in them), and beef sticks.

These snacks came from Kroger, Amazon, and Thrive.

Snacks when you arrive

Many people may not know this tip/trick but prior to arriving to Disney World or your destination, if you have Amazon Prime, you can order groceries that can be delivered to you at a specific time. Of course, you can always get fruit in Disney World, but be prepared to spend $3 for just ONE banana when you could buy a bundle for that.

Even if you do not have a suite, rooms typically have a mini fridge, and you can request a microwave (it’s never promised, and comes first come first serve.)

Up to 48 hours before arriving you can order your snacks through Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods, placing “Guest” beside your name, and ensuring the address listed is to the physical address of your resort. There is a free 2 hour delivery if you spend over $35 through Amazon Fresh, and a $9.99 delivery fee through Whole Foods. They will then deliver your groceries to bell hop services at the designated time, and they will:

  1. Deliver them to your room upon request (I believe it is a small fee).
  2. You can pick them up at Bell Hop services and take them back to your room, AND/OR
  3. Bell hop services will hold them, and stow them away in refrigeration (if needed), until your room is ready, where they can deliver them, or wait for your pick up.

In the bottom of our stroller (upcoming blog of our stroller set up), we will have a small cooler that will house some additional snacks. (Bring an ice pack. Lose ice is not allowed in the parks.) These snacks will be more filling because we may have a dining reservation later, or the mobile pick up at Quick Service restaurants are backed up, and raisins just aren’t going to do the trick.

Below are more quick options that would work in the park or in the room.

Utensils! We will personally be taking our daughters personal utensils along with us. It’s easier for her to eat with. When she’s done, we will place them in a wet bag and clean at a later time. If you need utensils and do not want to take your own, you can always get them from a quick service restaurant or call room services from your resort room.

Also don’t forget about keeping yourself hydrated. You can put bottled water on your Amazon order and stow in the bottom of your stroller.

Another small tip… water is free at Disney World. Instead of purchasing bottles of water in the parks, spending another small fortune, you can bring an empty water jug/bottle, and fill your container up at water refill stations for free, or you can get free cups of water at counter service restaurants, or kiosks.
